About the Juror
Marcia Polenberg holds an MFA from the University of Michigan School of Art & Design. She is an instructor for the Visual Arts Department of the University of Michigan – Flint, MI. Marcia is a member of Ann Arbor’s Clay Gallery.
Her creative interests range from ceramics and sculpture to painting,
drawing and design. Originally trained as a painter, she says of her clay works that she “attempts to express the layers of individual personality, intelligence and history, all resulting in a surface that is both ‘painterly’ and textured, with layers of colors and nuances of tones representing the personalities and prior experiences.”
This exhibit is free and open to the public. There is parking next door to the gallery.
Gallery Hours:
Thursday – Saturday 3-9 pm. Sunday 1:30-4 pm. The gallery is closed on the 4th of July.
