January 16th– Daria Kim Ceramic Artist – Review

Daria was a very warm and gracious host to a room of about twenty people. She demonstrated her clay throwing techniques, and told us about her interesting and varied background. She informed us that she likes to listen to music while she works with clay. She brought out some hand-made brushes, which she made herself with natural hair, and uses to paint designs on her clay pots. Her talk went over the allotted time, and most people stayed on to hear more about her brushes.  She did a little demonstration with them, as well.
