Mary Riley initially did prints and drawings and now oil paintings. She learned the basics of printmaking and anatomy at the Art Students League, NYC. Early in her career the Jacques Baruch Gallery in Chicago (now closed) and the Linda Iannotta Gallery in Pittsburgh (now closed) represented her drawings. She now works with oils on linen canvas. She is a member of the Brown County Art Guild, which includes a Gallery, Museum and Historical Site located in Nashville, Indiana. Her paintings available at the Guild on the website

Artist Statement
“My current focus is on animals where the goal is to capture some of their essence and beauty.”
